The VIVO Height Adjustable VESA Adapter is perfect for adding some extra height to your monitor if you need those extra inches and the monitor stand is not high enough. It is bigger than it looks, but the build is very high-quality, and the versatility of the height adjustment is better than other height adjustment plates.

-Compatibility

Fits 13" to 27" monitors (weighing up to 17.6 lbs) with VESA 75x75mm or 100x100mm backside mounting. Please Note: The monitor mount must have 75x75mm VESA compatibility and the adapter is not compatible with monitors containing power and video ports in the center.

-No tools needed

You can adjust your monitor's height by hand in an instant without the use of tools, but I do recommend tightening it properly (maybe with pliers or something) if you have very heavy monitors (heavy 27" monitors that are very thick).

-Protection

Located between the adapter and your monitor, anti-skid protective padding increases stability and helps prevent scuffs and scratches.

Some drawbacks of the VIVO Height Adjustable VESA Adapter:

• There is a lack of hardware, specifically with screws. Mounts usually include 3 lengths of each diameter. This only has 1/2 the amount needed in a single-size, and there are no spacers if the screws are too long for your monitor.

• The bracket only moves in one direction and the ratchet locks in place. To adjust the hight you must slide the monitor all the way to the top to reset the ratchet. Then you can slide it down again. And if you slide it too far. Guess what, all the way back up again.

• If you have curved monitors you will probably need an adapter to install the Height Adjustable VESA Adapter, so basically, that would be two adapters into the monitor so it will add a substantial bulkyness to your setup.

Considering that there is barely anything similar to this in that form factor, I think the price is pretty good for what you get. There are definitely some flaws that you have to take into consideration. But if you need the extra height, it's probably one of the best options out there. Just make sure you have extra screws.
