• The three-prong connector for the outlet is held by a plastic piece that can break fairly easily, so don't plug it in and unplug it like you're the rock. Be gentle.

• For very energy-demanding equipment like a treadmill. There are reviews of people where it trips the breaker. So buy it as a surge protector for a device, not a breaker protector.

• MAKE SURE YOU GET THE UltraBlok428 MODEL. If it is not the UltraBlok428 which is the premium version, it will not have the auto shut-off that will kill the surge suppressor/protector and it will fry your equipment. So make sure that it says UltraBlok428 in the box, and in the surge protector itself. Amazon doesn't differentiate between the premium version and the regular version, and they look exactly the same.
